If you’re looking for a safe space to let yo freak flag fly and explore the hilarious person you think you are, you won’t find a better teacher or class in NYC”“Taking Chanel’s class was so awesome! I’m a little more experienced in comedy and was still able to get awesome insights from Chanel.”“Incredible. I’ve wanted to be a comedian forever and now I get to be, thanks to Chanel. • Building Your Hour, Workshop with William Kean
  • Longer Sets: Put "The Me" In "Theme" Are you transitioning from tight 5's towards longer sets or even full specials? This is THE workshop to perfect the skills needed to stay ahead of the competition. You'll learn how to craft a thematic work of art that stays cohesive from your intro to your outro. If you want the audience to feel like you've done more than just bit #1, bit #2, bit #3, closing bit, then these are must-have skills for your professional toolkit. This three hour workshop will consist of taking current material and pulling out deeper themes as well as strengthening the bridging material between bits. There will be exercises specifically focused on the liminal moments of your set and ways to use stagecraft to augment your comedic messages.
