  • This Advanced 6-week course will focus on writing techniques, stage presence, and help you continue to hone your unique comedy voice. Every week you will have the opportunity to get onstage and receive feedback in order to level-up your 5-minute set. The class concludes with a show at West Side Comedy Club, providing students the opportunity to perform onstage in front of a live audience, and receive a professional recording of their set (please note recordings are subject to be used on our social media platforms). Most recently, Liz has been featured on Nateland and Don't Tell Comedy. Liz was also a part of the Seattle International Comedy Competition and will be a part of the upcoming HBO Women in Comedy Festival. As an actor, Liz has appeared on ABC’s FOR LIFE and CBS’s BULL, and is on the faculty at Lesly Kahn & Co., the Los Angeles acting studio. Liz is also writing a television pilot about her life, a draft of which was a semi-finalist in the Stage 32 writing competition. He was the audience warm-up and for eleven of those years he was the Stand Up Comedy Talent Coordinator.  Eddie has taped more than 100 TV shows in six different countries, including ten appearances on The Late Show and on an Emmy nominated episode of the FX hit series, “Louie.”He has been seen in many films including, “30 Years To Life” with Tracy Morgan.  A 3-time MAC award winner for Outstanding Male Comic in NYC, Eddie was the architect and Creative Director of The Great American Comedy Festival which honors Johnny Carson in his hometown of Norfolk, NE.Along with Norman Lear, Eddie helped create the comedy writing program at Emerson College in Boston.He has hosted his own podcasts and is now the interviewer for the American Comedy Archives.Policies: INDIVIDUALS WHO REGISTER UP MUST SUBMIT A TAPE OF PERFORMANCE PRIOR TO CLASS FOR APPROVAL.
