Comedy 201 with Wali Collins
F Comedy at WSCC, New York, NY
This Advanced 6-week course will focus on writing techniques, stage presence, and help you continue to hone your unique comedy voice. Every week you will have the opportunity to get onstage and receive feedback in order to level-up your 5-minute set.

The class concludes with a show at West Side Comedy Club, providing students the opportunity to perform onstage in front of a live audience, and receive a professional recording of their set (please note recordings are subject to be used on our social media platforms).

All of our instructors are working comics themselves with credits to their name; they are able to speak directly to the industry as it is today.

This course is intended for comedians who are already working at their craft and have a strong understanding of joke writing and a five minute set they are looking to refine and polish.

About Wali Collins: 

Wali Collins is an international headlining stand up comedian. One of the original hosts on Comedy Central. Wali performed for 2 American Presidents and
1 First Lady. He is also an award winning corporate comedian. Wali is a curator at Lincoln Center. He produces a show called Jokes & Jazz, which is in its 6th season. Wali decided to share his knowledge of stand up by teaching and tutoring stand up comedy. He was also asked to give seminars in other countries including China and Hong Kong.
